Always one to do my own market research and consistently willing to share my findings with others for the common good, I have discovered a cure for all the headaches and ills that Special Servicers, Asset Managers and other workout artists are facing from hotel defaults on a daily basis. It works better with friends and is more effective after sundown. Overuse may cause minor problems the next day.
My cure is a distillation handmade by Tito Beveridge of Austin, TX.
It is currently the top ranked Vodka in the world according to Wine Enthusiast reviews with a 95. Wimpy old Ketel One was second at 89 and the froggies Grey Goose third at 84. By unanimous decision, Tito’s has also received the Double Gold Medal at the World Spirits Competition. It is spreading world wide and I recently pushed it at Club 21 in New York and also the Hemmingway Bar at Ritz Paris. Those few of you still reading this will know I am quite serious and encourage you to go out tonight and try it yourself.

A hearty second to your recommendation. Discovered Titos at the marina at Lake Lanier about 2 years ago….have not even glanced at another vodka label since!! I enjoy reading your blog and you are one of the few in the industry calling it like it is.
I’ve been out of the hotel industry for 8 years managing my family’s RE portfolio and with the passing of my father in December I’ve been looking around to get back in. I’ve done task force work in transition, due diligence but have yet to find a company who has a realistic approach to managing the current economic climate. It seems this industry thinks that you forget how to control the controllables and drive top line revenue like I was taught way back in the eighties. In some cases it seems, they are looking for the messiah to control there debt service which they gluttonously whacked three or so years ago in a enviroment where you could train a monkey to run a hotel. And now, they’re letting all these GM’s go for not delivering results because they didnt have to “deliver” other then guest scores in the years preceeding this meltdown and they have no idea how to drive top line and control. But yet, it seems they’re looking to replace those GM’s with the same. I learned from seasoned hoteliers who have been thru numerous downturns. These days I am being interviewed by 27 and 30 year olds who I intimidate from an experience perspective and have never faced any kind of economic crisis in the industry.
I read your blog to remind myself that this IS whats happening right now and there isn’t a guy/girl who they can just hire to make it all go away!!
Thanks for the candor

When faced with bad credit, you have on your hands a situation that you need to turn around, and the faster, the better! It’s never too late to take steps to get rid of a bad credit rating, however, and being approved for a credit card is a great way for the discerning credit card hunter.
Thank you.. Still a typical nice article, this can be exactly why my partner and I return to all your blogs time and again!
